CBSA EDI Response Issues

The following is a notice received from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) that will be relevant to all clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI.

On Sunday March 5, 2017, the CBSA released further eManifest functionality to our external clients.  Several issues with outbound transactions such as RNS and S12 are currently being investigated.

*Please note: This is an outbound notice issue only. CBSA internal systems are not affected and are accurately reflecting reporting/arrival of goods and release decisions.  

The CBSA recognizes the impact to our external clients on these issues and is actively working on a resolution. It is undetermined as to when the issue will be resolved.  Further instructions to follow.
