2017 Customs Tariff – Amendments

Buckland has received notice regarding the 2017 Customs Tariff Amendments. We are sharing it with valued customers to ensure that you are kept aware of government regulations and changes in the industry.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has advised that corrections will be made to the online version of the Customs Tariff as soon as possible. Please see the preambles that were incorrectly deleted. French and English descriptions are included. The following items were missing descriptions, in French only:

Tariff classification 5512.29.99.00 has two CRT rates listed – one as free and the other as 2%.  The 2% rate was reduced to free effective 2015-01-01; free is the correct rate.
