- In addition to Free and Secure Trade (FAST) Shipments, there will be a test to see if the bridge can be opened to automotive sector shipments.
- If this does occur, there will be joint inspections by CBP and Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT). If this process is effective, Mexican Customs may elect not to repair the Mexican Customs Export platform for inspections.
- Attempts are being made to authorize the loads with empty containers to cross as empty trailers and will still need to have the Mexican Pedimento.
- All other commodities still crossing by Colombia Bridge.
- The Laredo World Trade Bridge is fully operational for Southbound shipments.
- The Laredo Pedimento in Southbound shipments can no be longer be cleared at Colombia Bridge.
- Southbound operations at the World Trade Bridge and Columbia Bridge have now returned to regular hours.
