New Electronic Refunds Functionality in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)

Overview

CBP is launching a new feature—the ACH Refund Authorization tab—within the ACE Secure Data Portal to simplify and accelerate the process for receiving electronic refunds via Automated Clearinghouse (ACH). This new functionality replaces the current manual, email-based enrollment process.

How to Apply

To begin receiving ACH refunds:

  1. Log in to your ACE Portal account (must have account owner role).

  2. Go to the ACH Refund Authorization tab.

  3. Enter the U.S. bank account details to receive electronic refunds.

  4. Once approved, all future refunds will be deposited directly to the designated account.
