U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has introduced a mobile application that allows importers to schedule and complete an interview with CBP for Importer of Record (IOR) verification.
The process is supported through the CBP Link mobile app and is intended to facilitate identity verification for Importers of Record.
Importers who are contacted by CBP regarding IOR verification should follow the agency’s instructions and review the CBP Link Importer of Record Interview Quick Reference Guide for information on scheduling and completing the interview.
