The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Notice of Implementation of Additional Duties on Products of India, pursuant to the President’s Executive Order 14329 of August 6, 2025, Addressing Threats to the United States by the Government of the Russian Federation (Federal Register Document No. 2025-16419, 90 FR 41837).

Shipments already in transit before August 27, 2025, may qualify for temporary relief if entered before September 17, 2025, with appropriate CBP certification.

Certain categories—such as humanitarian donations (food, clothing, medicine) and informational materials—are excluded and must be entered under new HTSUS provisions.
