It was announced today by the United States Trade Representative (USTR) that exclusions will be granted on some products from China which have been subject to tariffs since 2018. The exclusions apply to a total of 437 types of products including such items as Christmas tree lights, to dog leashes, printed circuit boards, and electric-powered skateboards. This represents about 13% of the goods targeted for tariffs.
These exclusions come as a result of 1,100 exclusion requests made by companies in the United States.
