Vol. 150, No. 20 of the Canada Gazette was released on October 5, 2016, and contained significant amendments to the Customs Tariff.
It is recommended that you review the order to determine if your imports are impacted by these changes. There are no changes to the policy, and the changes to the rates are neutral. If you are an importer who has tariffs included in these updates, your databases will need to be updated.
The changes will come into effect on January 1, 2017.
