Decrementables Technical Provision to Validate Customs and Trade at Mexican Customs

A bulletin was issued by the Mexican SAT on February 11, 2021, detailing that the Technical Provisions to validate MX Customs and Trade for proper filling of the fields (customs entrances) related to non-addable elements of transaction value known as “Decrementables”. As of February 26, 2021, this data will be mandatory information for all customs operations.

These not addable elements (decrementables) are those expenses and costs that are not part of the transaction value as they are billed at the importer of record (IOR) hold separated by tax invoice or any other foreign document equivalent to that. Attached below (in English and Spanish) are notices of this new regulation.
