Tariffs on Chinese Goods to Increase to 25%, Effective May 10, 2019

It was announced on May 9, 2019, that the US tariffs would increase from 10% to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods at 12:01 am on May 10, 2019. The 10% tariffs came into effect on Section 301 List 3, which was originally passed in September of 2018 at 10%, with the intention to raise it to 25%. This increase has been delayed twice over the course of negotiations with China.
