Tentative Agreement Reached in BC Port Strike

July 13, 2023 – The International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada (ILWU) workers have announced that a tentative agreement has been reached following their 13-day labour strike.

The strike began on July 1, 2023, and involved 7,000 terminal cargo loaders at West Coast ports including the Port of Vancouver and Prince Rupert.
